How to Use the Height Predictor
Choose the child's sex, enter both parents' heights and press Estimate Height. The result is a genetic target range, not a forecast.
Reading the result
The mid-parental height averages the parents' heights with a small adjustment for the child's sex.
The range is roughly two standard deviations either side of that midpoint.
Most children grow to somewhere within the range, not exactly at the midpoint.
Nutrition, health and puberty timing all affect final height.

If you are worried about your child's growth, your pediatrician can plot measurements on a growth chart and refer you if needed.
